Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread for ongoing cleanup projects.

These corrections are usually fine to make, since you're causing the wiki to comply with policies. If the user changes them back, then it's a problem. You could also politely PM them to remind them of the rules.

Executive Meddling seems like past tense would be the right way to go. You're not describing events in a work, you're describing something that happened.

As for the second, unless you've already reverted the troper once before, such misuse is flat out incorrect and should be fixed. If they keep doing it, report them.

^ The Rogue Penguin — For the first: Ah, that makes sense, so I'll leave that alone. For the second: No, I haven't reverted that troper's mistake yet. However, it is true that Adding Multiple Tropes With a Slash is not kosher, based on Administrivia. How To Write An Example. Should I revert it and keep an eye on that character page?

Revert, and please use one of the prewritten messages to remind them. Example Indentation rules are an option in the menu.
