Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
First thing you do is ask yourself "does this character have a distinct voice I can accurately emulate in a TVT article?"
Second thing you do is ask yourself "Really, does he/she?"
Then go to SelfDemonstrating.Character Pages and read up.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.First you decide if the character is worth a self demonstrating article. I think there's been a ban, or at least strict requirements on those for a while now because they got out of hand for characters who didn't really need them.
See SelfDemonstrating.Character Pages for more info
Edit: probably worth paying attention to is that two people told you nearly exactly the same thing within 30 seconds of each other.
Edited by sgamer82If you specify who you're creating it for I can link to the correct place.
Having said that, the Hive Mind isn't really in favor of new self-demonstrating pages these days. Some time back we zorched the majority of them. Be aware there's a good chance it will be deemed that we don't need the page.
You might consider drafting it on the Trope Launch Pad so you can get a feel for whether it's likely to survive.

How do I create one for a character? I'm sorry if this is a pretty basic question, but it's still one I really wanna know. Editing pages is nice, but I kind of feel like making my own would be fun. SD pages are Just for Fun, aren't they?
