Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I'd say make the page anyway. If you feel guilty about doing so just don't get too deep into the process. Give a general plot overview and a pile of the more blatant tropes used.
That will give you something to lock into your watch list and it also has the advantage of giving the more casual tropers who are willing to edit but don't feel up to creating a page from scratch something to work with.
This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.Oh, I know what's allowed and not. I just have unusual preferences and wondered if the wiki had something to handle it.
Creating and cutting the page is... not really what I had in mind. I guess I'll just keep the tab open and maybe make the page if I ever arbitrarily decide I've done enough to merit making the page myself. Or get really bored.
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.Something to point out - if you go to a yet-to-be-made-page, click on the "Watch" and even though it the star doesn't show as filled in when you return it will show up in your watchlist once it has been created
Before the site update it only worked for one page at a time but now it works for multiple (not sure how many)

So I'm writing a fanfic, and while I'd feel too much like a Shameless Self-Promoter to create its page myself, I do want to be informed if someone else does. But apparently adding a not-yet-created page to your watchlist doesn't work. Is there anything I can do?
