Could 1 be A Carnival of Secrets from the Adventures in Odyssey Fiction Series?
Could 2 be from The Young Merlin Trilogy?
Could 3 be The Amazing Frecktacle?
Edited by jormis29 Working on cleaning up List Of Shows That Need SummaryI think they are, thanks!
If I may make a suggestion, if you are satisfied that my guesses for the first three a correct, you could edit the original post to out something like "found" next to those numbers so others know they don't need to search for them
Working on cleaning up List Of Shows That Need SummaryI'll do that.
(Found) 1. A girl gets a teddy bear from a carnival and a fortuneteller or someone tells her it's cursed. There was a part later on when she and her family were having a picnic or doing something at a lake or park and a fire started and her mom tells her to get her jacket wet and help put out the fire with it and she thinks to herself that that would probably ruin it. I think at the end she finds out that the bear had money in it or otherwise was valuable or had something to do with something valuable and some people were trying to get it. I think she gets the bear back in the end. I think there was a picture of the carnival on the cover, but I'm not sure.
(Found) 2. It was a series(I think) about Merlin as a child or young teenager. I think he was traveling with some people and either left them or got separated, but I could be wrong. The only thing I really remember at all clearly, unless I'm confusing it with something else, is that in at least one book, he said his name was Robin at least in the narration, but I don't remember why. There might have been a picture of some woods or forest area on one of the covers, but I could be wrong.
(Found) 3. The main kid was a boy with a lot of freckles on his face and he gets a wish and wishes for the freckles to be gone. He had a younger brother named Sam who I think was seven and he called him Tham because he had a lisp. There was a part where he and his brother were at a candy store and he had to translate for Sam because the employee somehow couldn't tell that 'thix cherry thticks' meant six cherry sticks. His mother was called Elizabeth Dahling in the narration and by herself until the end because that was what her friends were calling her. His dad had left or gone missing before the start of the book and called his mom Lizzie and he comes back in the end. There was also a guy who (I think) worked at a store his mom might also have worked at and the kid says in the narration something to about him leaving an odor that lingered after he left. That guy was (I think) the villain and the kid finds out at the end that there was a face on his stomach when he was arguing with it. I think he gets his freckles back at the end and he also gets another wish which he uses to wish his brother's lisp away. The cover had a picture of the boy on it.
4. I thought this one was called The Secret Island but I looked that up on Amazon and I didn't see it. The main character was a girl and at the beginning some boy was twisting her arm and she said in the narration that he was going to break it, but she got him to stop before he did. She got stranded on an island and I think at one pint there was a passing ship she tried to get the attention of, but they didn't see her, but maybe I'm mistaken. I think she did get saved by some ship and at the end she successfully stand up to the boy who was picking on her and he leaves her alone after that. I think the cover had a picture of the girl on it.
