Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Note that their edit reason when they originally added the example is "Shot fired. Havoc!" For this reason, I do not believe this person is editing in good faith.
It looks as though they expected someone — maybe a fan who cares about this work — to complain about the entry. Their response to Mag Bas's removal seems to support this as the rude edit reason is appealing to the content in the work rather than the mutual exclusivity of these tropes.
Weirdly, this troper has never edited
the article for Drow Tales (the work whose entry is being edit warred over).
Edited to Add: Looking at their most recent edit on Woobie.Web Comics, it looks like they are having a bit of Complaining About Shows You Don't Like. Their edit reason including the phrase "in typical Drowtales fashion."
While they're probably going to be suspended for edit warring anyway, the hate-on for Drow Tales seems to be another significant issue.
Edited by WaterBlap Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyPermission to zap that example, again?
The mention of the word "misanthrope" like that is very much a rudeness rule-breaker. And that's attached to an Edit War, so this will require a mod.
Edited by jameygamerI've cut the example, noted it was in an Edit War and that it and the rude edit reason led to this query, left a link back to this query, and put the example on the trope's discussion page. I probably will ask in Trope Talk or Is This An Example about it as well.
Edited by jameygamerThat guy keeps sending me insults in messages.
I knew of his existence when he started messing around DIDNapper pages by adding complains as tropes

26 Dec, THEKHAN added an example in Villain Protagonist. As the own example admitted that this was an example of Designated Hero(aka-a character that, despite his lack of heroic qualities is, where the history is concerned, a hero), i removed this with "Designated hero = not a villain" as edit reason. 1 Jan, THEKHAN readded the example with the following edit reason: "Yeah right. Stop defending a badly made plot by a high school misantrophe, would you? She and her entire race are villains, full stop. Full stop. The fanbase and the author itself claims that it has no real villains, but that's only really because the Drow are the creator's pets and are evil for the sake of being evil, but unlike the Dn D drow nothing about their society requires them to do any of the shit they do"
