That's YMMV... I was hoping for a Main Trope... And I'm not sure the references require the kind of knowledge to be called Genius...

Are these shout-outs? If so, is there more specific trope than Shout-Out, for these references in Literature.Tales Of The Five Hundred Kingdoms?
Such as an "All Forests Are One" spell, which I think is a reference to Charles de Lint's Spiritwalk, but that seems obscure...
As noted in Headscratchers, there's also "Fair Rosalinda", as a reference to an old ballad, and references to "Felicia and the Pot of Pinks" and "Puss in Boots":
In fact, is it dense enough to be Reference Overdosed?
