Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Critical Research Failure is for inaccuracy so blatant that a primary school education could fact-check it. That the example needs to go that in-depth to explain what's wrong is proof that it isn't Critically wrong.

The majority of the info seems more YMMV but the Hype Backlash part is a form of research error. Hype Backlash isn't It's Popular, Now It Sucks!, it's having something disappoint you because of the hype. With some trimming this would be correct.
Muramasa got.No, our definition of Hype Backlash is not part of a primary school education. He is welcome to define it differently from us; trimming would not make the context demonstrate a lack of knowledge most layman possess about the subject.
Addendum: I just watched the video itself and he never uses the term Hype Backlash, so this paragraph does not describe misuse of tropes.

This example from CriticalResearchFailure. The Nostalgia Critic feels a little opinion-based to me, but I'm not sure. What do you think?
