Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. No. Think of it this way - what would be the point?

I don't see why not, since the majority of the works troped here are exclusive to those that payed in some way to view them.

Edit: Mod beat me. Guess I'm wrong. Well, I guess TV is only payed indirectly though being subjected to ads and the whims of the service provider.

So such existing pages may be cut?

Needs a Wiki Talk discussion for that. We've had problems with such works and cut requests on them in the past, especially since it is arguable whether the work being visible to everybody is all that important in troping terms.

Just to add to this, the issue isn't whether a work is available for free or not. The issue is whether it is generally accessible to the public — that is, one could read/watch/play it if one desired. This includes works that exist only as Keep Circulating the Tapes.

The question of whether an RP is tropable is a complex one: generally, we hold it to the standards that: (a) It must be intended for public viewing and/or publication, as opposed to a private game; (b) The article must be about the game, not the players.

Using TV Tropes to document your private RP is not something that we condone or support. There are plenty of other sites for that sort of thing.
