TRS is known for having a backlog. Generally, unless it's a severe issue at the moment(edit wars, for instance), we need to finish the current ones first before moving onto new ones. At least, that's what I remember being the general consensus on how to handle it.

Yep. It's always the grunt work that takes the longest, too. Fastest way to get new threads opened is helping resolve older ones.

Look for orange stars if you want to find threads that have reached the grunt work stage.

Moderators can also set clocks on dormant workshop threads. If they expire with no one moving the thread along, they're cleared away, so that's another way we're clearing the backlog.
