Why don't we have an Animated Film namespace, again?

To be frank, it's one of those arbitrary decisions that only makes sense when you consider that the wiki, including the namespace system, has grown organically rather than out of any sort of concentrated administrative effort. For example, if we're really focused on medium as an organizational principle, then having both animated films and animated series go under Western Animation, while Anime is a distinct namespace, is insane. But changing it now would be all but impossible. So we deal.

Moving the work to Western Animation/ Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Movie) makes about as much sense as anything.

The WesternAnimation/ page concerns both the TV series and movie. That's why the current Film/ corresponds more to an episode page, hence why I suggested Recap/ as namespace.

I'm more of the 'move everything about the animated movie to a page separate from the either the live-action films or animated series' mind, since it's a separate work from either. But whatever works.

I wouldn't use Recap, since technically the TCW movie and the animated series are distinct works. Recap is a type of work subpage that wouldn't apply in this case.

Well, the WesternAnimation/ page does specify that "The theatrical film had originally begun as a four-part-opening arc for the series but was converted into a Compilation Movie after Lucas screened the episodes himself." So the two being distinct works is arguable.

Although there are cases where a season / part of a work has received its own page under the same namespace (like Series.Torchwood Miracle Day or WesternAnimation.Archer Dreamland, so there is precedent for this too.

I mean, if there's general agreement that they're all one work in practice, then fine, do it that way.
