I think they want to add a Playing with a Trope section to Defictionalization because it's been used In-Universe.
Not sure if that's done with Trivia pages. Trivia falls under Not A Trope, and the Playing With Wiki says, "Don't bother playing with it if it's Not A Trope."
For we shall slay evil with logic...Let's sort out the In-Universe uses and see if there are enough to make a trope.
There actually was a Playing With and I didn't understand why just "Triva Page" was reason enough to delete it. Honestly I don't understand why it isn't acknowledged as a trope: In Universe Defictionalization has a lot of potential, varying from people making "createbaity" fiction hoping to Exploit the phenomenon or a Defictionized person dealing with the Drama they're just an imitation with nothing of their own. I'm no good naming sources though, else I would of tried getting Infertile Super Soldiers acknowledged as a Trope.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Half of what was written on that Playing With page was not In-Universe stuff, so that will need to be rectified before recreating it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman

I get that Defictionalization is labelled as only a "Triva" page, but the concept is very much more than that. The page itself notes at least one In-Universe example (Anime section, Durarara), and Defictionalization is distinct from Life Imitates Art. Defictionalization is about, well, defictionalizing things whereas Life Imitates Art is exactly that. So I think the Playing With page should be restored, so more people can realize the real creative potential of In-Universe Defictionalization.
