Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I don't think either fits.
- Narm is a moment that's supposed to be serious but is instead inadvertently comical due to inept presentation or acting.
- Squick is a disgusted/revolted reaction.
What you're describing would be an Audience Reaction, but I dont think it matches anything we have.
Edited by DracMonsterA good place to ask this is in the Trope Talk forum
, which is dedicated to answering this type of question.
Or, if the question is "do we have a trope for this", you should ask in Trope Finder.

If teenage experiences in anime are so innocent and realistic that a viewer over 25 years old will simply feel uncomfortable because of the feeling that he is watching the living innocent children, that is it closer to Narm or Squick?
