Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. See: Handling Spoilers. I think the trope names shouldn't be spoiler tagged. Just rephrase the entry so the spoiler is in the description of the entry and not the trope itself.

Trope names should never be spoilered out in the trope list of a work. NEVER

Not only was spoiler tag abuse absolutely rampant on that page, but there's already an "Unmarked spoilers ahead! Advance with caution!" warning at the top of the page. The solution was obvious: every spoiler tag on that page has been deleted and a note to editors added telling them that an "unmarked spoilers ahead" warning means unmarked spoilers, not "half the page hidden in spoiler tags". I doubt it will take, but at least I tried.

Oh, and Characters/ page... bad indentation... bad alphabetisation... sinkhole abuse... trope names in emphasis markup as a lazy substitute for context... you know the drill by now...
