Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.

The goal in splitting folders is to make each folder a manageable size on its own. There are 21 "A" tropes and 20 "B". 17 "c"s, 13 "d", 12 "e", 11 "f", 6 "g", 3 "h" 7 "i", 2 "j", 1 "k", 7"L", 14"M". 6"n" 3 "o" , 10 "P", 5 "r", 24 "s" 11, "t" , 5 "V" and 11"w".
So I'd put "A" and "B" (41 tropes) in one folder.
"C", "D", and "E" add up to 42 tropes. They would go in the second folder.
"F" through (and including) "L:" is 37 tropes. That would be my 3rd folder.
"M", "N", "O", "P" and "R" are 38 tropes. That would be folder 4.
"S" has 24 by itself. That would be folder 5
The remainder would all go in folder 6, with 27 tropes.
I'm not saying you have to do it that way, I'm just explaining how to look at breaking it into sections. You could shoot for fewer tropes in each folder (around 20-30) and start by separating A into a folder, B into another one, and then going down the list taking chunks of roughly that size. ( (C-D), (E-F-G), (H-M), (N-R), (S), (T-Z) ) It's not an exact science.

I was wondering if someone could split the examples on Wander over Yonder into folders. I could do it myself, but I don't know which letters to use for each folder. (For instance, should the first be A-B or A-C?)
