The deletion was a while back, so they might not have noticed that it was deleted. Also, the deletion did not have a reason given. All in all, I'd say a PM to the offending parties is in order before any suspension would be issued.

Sure. I wasn't looking to get anyone suspended, specifically. Just trying to follow protocol.

If the previous deletion was a long time ago I'd doubt it'd count as Edit Warring, especially if the most recent edit was by somebody who wasn't participating initially.

If one's not already there, put a note in hide tags so this doesn't happen again.

Well, the whole thing is complicated.

  1. The example was re-added verbatim, meaning that it was copy-pasted from the deleted version.
  2. The person who deleted it, Tron80 appears to have been bounced.
  3. As I said, the example itself seems to have a history of being heavily-edited. And, in my personal opinion, it might not even qualify because the story heavily invokes Both Sides Have a Point.
