The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at the Trope Launch Pad.

Maybe it is a subtrope of Informed Equipment because it is not quite that trope.
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.

I've heard the concept referred to as Vanity Armor, but we currently don't have that as a Trope. Take it to the launch pad.
I've seen it in Spiral knights and Xenoblade chronicles X, and I'm sure that there are more games that do this.

Do we have a trope about how in some games, characters can get costumes that can hide their armour of their Virtual Paper Doll and make it look more the way they want it?
I've seen stuff like this with Terraria's Vanity Items and the stuff in the Maple Story Cash Shop.
