Clearly it is not in universe examples only, as it seems to be a normal audience reaction trope. Unless someone forgot to dot the i's on the trope description.
As a general rule, in universe examples of audience reactions are fine on the main page of a work, unless they have a separate in universe variant.
Oh, would you look at that. It is misguided vandalism (jaysonn260). My mistake.
Edited by war877Following In Universe Examples Only, "Tropes listed here limit all examples and wicks to In-Universe."
I've put it back, without the clarification, and my edit reason says that the note at the bottom of the description is to tell READERS WHY there is only IU examples on the page.
Keeper of The Celestial Flame

I had recently noticed that the Love It or Hate It trope is listed on the In Universe Examples Only page, but when you go the the Love It or Hate It page itself it's clearly listed as a YMMV trope. So I'm just a little confused. Is it supposed to be both or is it one and not the other?
