Wicks from Tropers pages should not be counted in Related searches. If they are, it's an issue to be corrected.

Just checked, no links on Troper pages are counted, but even so, I've noticed the large attack on "pages in the main namespace that redirect to the proper namespaced page" and I think it'd be better to fix it anyway, especially since the roleplays just go to the "Inexact title. See the list below." page, which isn't really helpful.

But eh, maybe my mad troper-sense is driving me insane with the "murder all work page wicks in main" mentality.

Not sure about not counting Tropers/ wicks. Seems like one might need a way to track use of links there.

Why should anyone else have a say in what pages this person chooses to link on their page?

Because they don't own the page. It belongs to the wiki, even if we leave lots of leeway in its use.

My question stands, I think. I don't have a troper page but if I did I wouldn't care for other people going into it and editing it.

I guess troper pages are treated like a closed-to-the-public version of The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours?
