When you find yourself trying to remember a show (or any works) that's on the tip of your tongue but just out of reach, come here - the collective brain of the TVTropes community can probably help. Sounds like it might be part of the episode A Canterlot Wedding. The song is "This Day Aria," and the villain is Queen Chrysalis, a shape-changer who at that point is in disguise as Princess Cadance. The scene you're probably thinking about occurs at around 24 seconds into this video.

Aha! I found the video
! So, it seems that the villain's name is The Changeling (Does she have shapeshifting powers? Is she disguising herself as a different pony? That would explain why she looks so... not-scary), and the song is "This Day Aria." Is that correct? Does anyone know the answers to 1 and 3?
Whoops, I've been Ninja'd. Thank you!
One more question: When I write the example, do I need to use spoiler marks? Is it supposed to be a secret that Queen Chrysalis was disguised as the princess?
Edited by DrNoPuma Please make this canon, DC. I love the idea of the Joker and Harley's hyenas acting like them.Queen Chrysalis is the name of the villain, and her entire race are Changelings. And yes, it's supposed to be a spoiler, if a Late Arrival one, because the presence of an impostor was only revealed at the end of Part 1 episode, and the Queen and changelings only show up about 1/3 of the way in Part 2.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!

(I am submitting 2 queries for the same reason: to write examples for a particular trope. The trope in question is Fade Around the Eyes. I was originally going to put both of my questions under the same query and label it "Not Sure", but I felt it would be better to seperate them instead.)
A long time ago (it's probably been a few years by now), I watched a Top 10 list video on Youtube. This one was Top 10 Villain Songs, but I forget the exact name. Anyway, the #1 song was from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magicnote At the end of one clip from the song, the villain (A pink pony wearing a dress. I hope It Makes Sense in Context.) grins at the camera as the screen fades to black around her glowing green eyes. This is the example I need for the trope. So, could someone please tell me:
Thanks!
