Sounds like Coco might be getting worfed to me, if before she was portrayed as strong and now suddenly she's having trouble for no apparent reason.

What do you mean by "organized fight"? If it's just practice with her friends/allies, I don't think she'd want to mow them down or cause massive destruction. It's probably just plain holding back or using blanks...

It was a tournament battle against the villains, who needed to advance for plot reasons. Thus, Coco's firepower got nerfed. I would say Dan004 provided the most appropriate trope for the OP situation but... that is for the OP to decide.

If it's against monsters (the Grimm) then that level of destruction is kinda justified. If it's just a tournament, you wouldn't like Casualty in the Ring so she (I guess) goes with a weaker set of bullets.
