At a guess, the person curating the work page has not frequented the trope page. From what I tell from mod statements, the new format will solve that bug when it is rolled out.

Edit: The examples do need to be better worded if they are to go back. I don't know the work in question, so I can't say if it is accurate, but it shouldn't be based on speculation or questioning. Lose the some fans speculate stuff and it could be workable.

God, I hate those "tropes." They're asking for speculation.

You sure you added them? Looking at the page's history the only addition you made was Elephant in the Living Room. Nobody short of a mod can delete something and erase its history of ever being there in the first place.

They're on the Characters page. He's since readded them.

Yeah, those and the -Yay tropes often tend to amount to, "Characters X and Y were in the same room together and acted friendly," or "X and Y were in the same room together and didn't act disgusted with the other's presence," or even "X and Y in fact hate each other, but when one had his hands around the other's throat, he said something that might, possibly be read as almost an innuendo if you squint."

At least that is openly YMMV. Discussion always peters out on the matter of turning the Ambiguously X pages YMMV.

For the record, I am not a "He".

^^^^My mistake. I ass/u/med that because Yasmin's link was to WesternAnimation.Arthur that she was talking about WesternAnimation.Arthur, not Characters.Arthur.

Given the target demographic of Arthur, why are we even talking about sexuality? We don't censor our pages for children's works, but that doesn't mean it's okay to add stuff like Ambiguously Gay on something targeted at people who don't even understand what "gay" is.

I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.
