Also, the general consensus is that we don't NEED a Self-Demonstrating page for every character - only ones that have an interesting way of speaking or thinking.

Otherwise, you end up with pages that are just that character's character sheet, written in first person. And that's no good.

The general consensus here and in YKTTW Crash Rescue thread is that the character has to have a distinctive voice, not have a limited vocabulary, and the page not written in such a way that you get a headache trying to read it. This was tropers in general as well as the mods.

Yes, thanks. I forgot to mention that - they don't have to be super eloquent, but they should be able to talk coherently at least.

That's the reason why SelfDemonstrating.Groot and SelfDemonstrating.Pikachu got cut, as funny as people thought they were.
