The title sequence one is a type of Evolving Credits, and an aversion of Through-the-Years Credits.
Outside of the credits/title sequence, check out Flashback with the Other Darrin and Backported Development.

Is there a trope for refilming a sequence to conform with the current status of the characters? Not Orwellian Retcon.
In the Opening Credits of The Commish Tony's son David comes to him with his report card to get signed. David ages from 10 to 14 during the course of the show, and evidently each year they refilmed that bit so that David would look like his current age rather than looking like he did when he was 10.
As opposed to Orwellian Retcon, where for example on Seinfeld they refilmed the first scene with George's father in it when Jerry Stiller Other Darrined the man who had played him previously, and inserted the refilmed sequence into reruns of the episode.
