Dunno about a mod judgment, but as a troper I'd say that Stop Hitting Yourself is a much better title than the one that's currently in use. The litmus test for a dialog-based title is whether people are likely to confuse the line of dialog for the trope, and in this case I don't believe that to be likely.
Edited by Fighteer "It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Um, actually another litmus test is whether you need to construct the sentence around the trope name. If the trope name causes significant contortion, it's likely a bad name.

So we're having arguments here in this ykttw
, specifically in how to name it.
In short: the ykttw's name was originally "Stop Hitting Yourself" but in accordance to No New Stock Phrases, it can't be used since the name implies an imperative. However many people protested and pointed out that the rule is unnecessarily inhibiting, the trope doesn't use the phrase exclusively as part of the trope, and it's unlikely it'll become a Pothole Magnet.
I need a mod's judgement here.
