Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
YMMV items can only be removed for trope misuse or being factually inaccurate. If it is a fact it was meant to be Bathos and not Narm, the entry can be fixed. If one person sees it as Narm and another as Bathos, both can be on the page, since it is Your Mileage May Vary, and it's all about opinions properly stated.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettFair enough.
There's one page where the work in question has a very particular form of British bathos done to make you smile during an otherwise hard hitting drama scene, but somebody listed it as Narm rather than Bathos, which missed the point of the scene where it's supposed to make you laugh.
"Did you expect somebody else?"That seems like a plain trope mistake; I'd move it to Bathos.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman

What should be done about YMMV items which miss the point of the reaction?
Say for example somebody lists a scene as having Narm, but the scene itself was intended as Bathos full stop?
