Not inherently. The Laconic Wiki entries are often the basis for "played straight" in the Playing With entries, but they still serve different functions.

^^ How so? If someone wants a quick definition, Playing With is more useful as you can see how the trope is used as well as its meaning.

Laconic is a definition. Playing With is a set of examples. They serve two difference purposes.

True, however Playing With also includes the basic trope, which is all the Laconic consists of.

Example:

The Boo Radley

The Boo Radley

The latter has all the content of the former and is more useful.
