Self-demonstrating is allowed on non-SD pages, as long as it doesn't detract from conciseness or clarity.

As for that example, I'd cut it, but then again Deadpool annoys me so I'm probably not the person to ask.

I wasn't going to cut it, just edit it to be standard wiki format.

I'm with wrm5—The Deadpool schtick annoys the shit out of me, but the wiki seems to take it as seriously as any of the other in-jokes (Candlejack, not spoiling The Mousetrap, etc.), so I just stay hands-off when I see it because I'm not interested in fighting it.

I'm not even sure why all these jokes are so difficult to avert; it's like they're compuls—

Yeah, the Deadpool thing has made the VideoGame.Deadpool page unreadable to me. Plus it bleeds into pages like the Marvel Characters page for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 with both Doctor Doom and Deadpool. It's really annoying.

They're both explicitly against the rules, but no one's cleaned them up.

^^Ahem. Not spoiling The Mousetrap is not an in-joke.

So self-demonstrating is against the rules, then?

Everywhere but the Self-Demonstrating namespace, yeah.

GT: Eh, neither is Candlejack in the sense of "This joke only makes sense here", but it is very much an in-joke in the sense that "The world at large doesn't give a shit and would not recognize the joke or find it funny, but here on this particular community we do, regardless of whether there may be other bastions of People Giving A Shit somewhere out there that also take it seriously and/or find it amusing enough to bother playing along."

I just didn't feel like typing all that out the fir

Seriously guys? Using em dashes to end a Candlejack joke? (Not that CJ is even funny anymore... and no, I'm not getting kidnapped by the bastard.)
