Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
You can bring it up in the general long term project threads if you can pin down a few specific problems (the page has a big zero context example problem, to start). If the work has a forum thread I'd let them know as well. You can take really bad work pages to TRS, though it's not always the best course of action.
Rocks fall, everyone miraculously survives. There is a general cleanup help request thread for pages with more than one issue, here.
I've been meaning to improve the article for 2001 for quite a while, but never felt like I had the time.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I am 90% sure I saw one ZCE that was also a sinkholed trope name.
If no one else does, I'll bring it up in those threads when I get the chance. RL is demanding my time. (Really, there should be more evening services for us diehard night owls. /tongue firmly in cheek.)
Edited by Candi Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchett^ Well, I can at least tackle that; those are easy enough to find and correct. The sinkhole, anyway.
EDIT: Done, plus a couple of other quick fixes. See my edit reason for the additional changes:
"Fixing Sinkholes/Potholed trope names. Also deleting Novelization, as such "adaptation" tropes go on the page for the adaptations themselves, not on the works being adapted, and that adaptation does have a page. Cutting the Odysseus comparison out of the Sole Survivor example because it's really not relevant. Further issues currently being discussed, but these were easy enough to fix."
Also just added the Novelization example to the book series' page, since outright deleting it would have been wasteful.

Where do you report a work page that has obvious problems, but you don't know enough about the work to fix some of them or fill them out? (And I have a doctor's appt today, and I refuse to edit from my phone. Regular forum posting is hard enough.)
Film. Two Thousand One A Space Odyssey. I was just scanning the page looking to see if it had a trope someone asked about on Trope Finder. It doesn't seem to, but man, does that page have problems.
