Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

No. Again, these kinds of tropes belong to the adaptation, not to the original work. It can be mentioned in the description, though.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I'll assume that also applies to any other kind of adaptation, like a Collectible Card Game made from a movie. (I would have asked in my first post but I hadn't noticed the entry.) Will fix. Thank you.
Edited by SolipSchismCorrect. In general, adaptation tropes (like The Film of the Book or Licensed Game) don't go in an work's example list, because they don't contain any useful context and are thus inherently ZCEs. They go in the description instead.

Should The Musical be in the example list for a work that was adapted into a musical, but is not itself a musical? Such as Literature. The Phantom Of The Opera, or Film.Monty Python And The Holy Grail.
