The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at the Trope Launch Pad.
You might want Level-Map Display, which applies to an in-game map of "the entire level", though examples seem to include world maps (which would logically extend to cover galaxy maps in the appropriate games). I'm not sure if those examples are misused, though.
We also have Point-and-Click Map, which many examples fall into. An overworld map that you don't move around on manually; instead, you select a location and your character goes directly there automatically. Sometimes with "interruptions" like in Dragon Age, but there's no free-roaming in the overworld.
None of the other Map Tropes that I'm finding seem relevant.
EDIT: Oh, there's also World Map, which is mentioned but hilariously not actually included in the list on Map Tropes. Fixing that now.

Do we have a trope for galaxy maps (or maps in general) as they appear in a video game? The ones from Elite, Wing Commander: Privateer, Mass Effect, and Vega Strike come to mind, though there are others.
