Like Goes with Like: The plot features a Love Triangle involving two people from an ethnic minority and someone else, and the two ethnic people end up together.
Token Minority Couple: The token minority recurring character starts dating someone, and it's someone of the same minority.
As far as I can make out, Like Goes with Like is "in a love triangle involving a white character and two nonwhite characters from the same race, the nonwhite characters with end up together". Unlike with Token Minority Couple, they don't actually have to be tokens, and they do have to be from the same race.
That said, the description of Like Goes with Like is fairly confused, and the truly awful name doesn't help.
Ninja'd.
Edited by nrjxllLike Goes with Like is where they end up together because they're the same like black with black. They can be the main characters of the story. Token Minority Couple are side (token) characters who are of non-white races "because only two races matter in Hollywood: white and not white."

Difference between Like Goes with Like and Token Minority Couple, please?
[Edited because I got the name of the 2nd trope horribly horribly wrong for some reason.]
