Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

... Ellie Goulding? Seriously? Is this like a wishful thinking thing?

The user has placed similar information over on a wikia for this anime. The owner of said wikia asked her to stop and she hadn't done so since.
I've asked her about any evidence regarding her claims, but she hasn't replied. Still, I do believe her history needs to be checked to make sure she hasn't vandalize any other pages. I'm unfamiliar with most of what she's edited though, and I do believe she's banking on that to get away with vandalism. Here's her history: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/el.php?findfor=NEXTPLEASE1987
I do believe I've jumped the gun again on this one...
I don't think you jumped the gun. That's just odd and if they're not responding to a PM, then a mod should ask them what the hell they're doing.
They also unilaterally changed a caption, for the worse in my opinion (Surprise Creepy). Also, in WesternAnimation.Jelly Jamm they added that "The show might also air on Disney Junior in the US" and still added tropes for a US version.
So... yeah. Someone figure out what they're saying.

If it's not deliberate, then at best it's careless, at worst it's whimsical disregard for reality.
In any case, it runs counter to the site's ideals. There's no reason everything on the site has to be neutral and factual, but we also don't need to be posting utterly false information as if it is fact. Unless it's a joke.
Edited by SolipSchismI've sent two P Ms to the user asking about the information. She has not replied as of yet.
There's been a couple cases in edit banned suspended of deliberately added false info. Apparently at least one site out there (no idea of the current name) thinks it's funny to publish false information and then spread it around to publicly editable sites. Innocent people also get caught up when they don't realize the site works on a 'troll' foundation.
If PMs are apparently being ignored, it might be time for a mod to step in.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettGoing by edit history on wikia sites, I do believe this is the same person who put who put false information on those wikias. I am certain that this is her talk page on one of the wikis: http://ojamajowitchling.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:JessicaFin23?s=wl
As you can see, she has ignored warnings from the wiki owner and, according to the second one, has been making new pages that only have one line.
Going by her edit history on that site (http://ojamajowitchling.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/JessicaFin23)
and comparing them to the edits she made here, they are virtually identical. I am also certain that this user will eventually start up again and put either bogus or false information. Have other warnings been sent to her?

NEXTPLEASE 1987 has effectively vandalized
Ojamajo Doremi by adding false information to the page. I have looked around on the internet, but I cannot find proof of the English Dub going past season 1 like what she's claiming.
