Not sure what the pun is.

Stock Punishment is literally about stocks and/or pillories. But the name is also mildly punny, as a play on Stock... Things. Such as Stock Phrases, Stock Underwear, Stock Footage, Stock Superpowers, etc. Stock Punishment is a stock punishment.

The word "stock" in the name has two meanings.

Well, it passes the Matt Striker pun test (it made me groan and facepalm).

I remember reading a book written by (I think) George Carlin that said the mark of a good pun is that it makes you groan while also wishing you'd thought of it first.

Added, though I still don't have a concise way to explain the pun, since it's not a pun on a specific phrase. Glad I could make everyone groan. :p
