It's a misuse of the trope entirely. My God, What Have I Done? is when a character realizes that their actions have caused some kind of tragedy or disaster. It has nothing to do with discovering that your lover is really the villain, unless your love for them caused you to unknowingly aid their plans.

IDK what trope it is either but I wanted to add that I support your interpretation. I mean, also probably Portly-Rind is not into dudes, but the line about having regrets seemed pretty clearly in reference to Snatcher specifically being someone Portly-Rind finds disgusting rather in reference to his gender.

(My mother also came to that conclusion independently of me, lol)
