Weird question but is there anyway to upload a recording of me singing it that might help? I only remember those lyrics but can still sing the tune of it kind of.

I think you may be right thanks. It's a lot different than I remember. I must have confused serenity with renovate

Yeah, what made me think of it is that I originally heard "I need serenity" as "I need to renovate," so I was gambling on the idea that we heard the same Mondegreen.
