The example does warn that it is 18+, but I don't believe a link back to it is acceptable by the site's rules.

I'm guessing the original writer thought it should be included because it is, as they say, one of the largest examples of the genre(?) around, and is therefore very notable.

I know we are definitely not supposed to have articles on such works, but I admit I'm a little unsure if a passing mention of a pornographic work in an example section is disallowed (the Content Policy page doesn't specify).

Mentioning it is not a violation of the Content Policy, but having an article on it probably would be.

Then I'll just remove the link and leave the rest.

I was under the impression that we only allowed SFW examples from NSFW works (like how we don't have an article on Kodomo No Jikan for reasons that should be obvious to anyone who's ever heard of the show, but it does provide our page image for 1000 Origami Cranes). I'm not completely sure that the above Shangri-La example fits.

What's precedent ever done for us?

That example is SFW. I have a feeling it's a Zero-Context Example.

MUSH is an index. It doesn't have to list details, although it can be informative to do so.
