Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread for ongoing cleanup projects.

There is no policy against writing a TVT page for your own fanfic, and many others have done the same thing. Just remember that The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours

Also remember that once a work page is within policy(not a stub or content forbidden by the P5) it WILL NOT be removed because content creators have no more authority over their pages than any other editor and cannot request removal.

Actually, you can. But you must make sure it's totally gone from The Internet (for example, if you only post it on single website, unless your fic is really popular and someone else save it, then just delete it should be enough), then request to cut it like any other page. It's still up to our cut master to remove it or not.

It's also a good idea to not fill in your own YMMV subpages (Awesome, Funny, Heartwarming, YMMV itself, etc.) since those are for audience reactions, not authors.

Remember, if you create the page, to crosswick and index it.
