looking in imdb, there is a quote in the quotes section for the movie "The Haunting" (1999)
Luke: [looking at a statue] These carvings are really creepy. All these fat little cherubs and angels with furry animals, it's really bizarre, I think.
Eleanor "Nell" Vance: I think they're the children Hugh Crain built the house for.
that's as far as i got

horror or drama film where an old man is eating soup at a table and a painting of a cherub urinates in the soup. The old man presumably doesn't realise and eats the soup anyway. This was apparently Played Straight as a drama trope, and not for comedy or grossout humour
