Looking for two tropes. One is a character who plays a significant role in a story behind the scenes but goes mostly unnoticed. An example might be HUNK from Resident Evil.
The next is the trope where you realize something simple later that's not immediately pointed out to you. It's different from Fridge Logic. Reading through the page once I remember people rambling things like "This troper just realized that Batman doesn't use a gun because of his stance against killing as opposed to being traumatized by his parent's death." Or "This troper just noticed that Barney looks like an older counterpart to Nelson." I can't think of any specific examples from the page. Those are just made up.
