I'm not entirely familiar with Black Butler, but watching a video of said character in action, s/he uses female pronouns and speech patterns.

On the Black Butler character page, there seems to be some disagreement on whether to use male or female pronouns when referring to Grell Sutcliff. In the manga and the anime, Grell is referred to with male pronouns. I corrected this in the entries, and vividgrim changed it back. To avoid an edit war, we need a moderator to be the judge of this apparently.
