These subjects are a headache, I swear.

In my subjective personal opinion, it's really controversial and questionable Flame Bait and I would recommend removal.

I feel that would just make people angry. Same as Septimus here. Legitimate point or not, some things are better off left off.

Reverted; the changes made it an accusation of misuse, which sounds like editing with an agenda. The original article has some rather blatant grammar issues, though.

He also sent me a PM about it (he appears to have misunderstood the purpose of the P5). I gave the whole "the wiki is not a soapbox, no matter the subject" speech, and directed him towards OTC.

P5 drama? That brings back memories.

(I didn't say they were pleasant.)

Yeah, this user sent me that PM, too. Honestly, I'm glad that I didn't respond back because from what I've seen of their edit on the page, I'm actually somewhat offended with it.

I find it darkly hilarious that people are stupid enough to think that being in dangerous situations makes you at fault for things other people do to you. I've never before heard "Well, he was walking around in Detroit at night, it's his own fault he got murdered."

That's because if a woman has sex, whether it was consensual or not, she's a slut.

ETA: NOT REALLY MY OPINION. (Just figured I'd better note that to be safe...)

Haha, in this day and age you can never be too sure whether someone's going to get the joke.

^^ Actually, I have heard that. I went to school in Baltimore and on a couple occasions people have been given grief for choosing to wander the streets of Baltimore alone and drunk and then getting mugged. But there's a big difference between getting mugged and murdered.

Reverting that was a good idea. Last thing you need is someone else coming along and countering with something along the lines of 'the perp could have removed himself from the situation where he might have been enticed to commit a crime'. Actually saw that on another site once, over a year ago now. Yes, it made a mess there, that we don't need here at all.
