Does that really count as invoked, though? Even if a creator afterwards comments on it, it's not like he set out to make Mega Khangaskhan a Game-Breaker.

Out of note, as mentioned in said edit reason, the Dragon-Type is mentioned as a Game-Breaker in Pokémon Types, by the same reason- Word of God eventually admitted that the type was overpowered when created the Fairy-Type as Obvious Rule Patch.

That's still not invoked. Invoked is someone deliberately using the trope in a Genre Savvy or Show Within a Show context. This is simply Word of God support for a YMMV item.
