Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. There are an usually high amount of edits for such a recent page. I'm seconding the notion. And maybe suggest locking the main pages as well.

I'll admit I've only been watching the page for the past couple days, but I think we've managed to weed out the really crazy edit-warrers (I think "edit-warriors" would be the appropriate term, but that sounds too cool for them). I don't care too much, but I vote to keep it open.

Opposing the motion, as it a) would lead to complaints (given that it is a high traffic page), b) that since the installment of the spoiler ban, it's been mostly fine (and the amount of trouble made by the page is not outstandingly large) and c) the supporting argument is kind of weak.

Edit snipers? :p

Since the mods began slapping suspensions on everyone who was causing trouble on that page, things have simmered down. I don't see a reason to lock it at the moment.

This happens with certain movies. Avatar was pretty much a constant edit war for a few months after release, then it settled down. Until the DVD came out, when there was another six weeks or so of tussle before it settled down again.
