Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Can't see why such an appearance could possibly qualify as a Real Life examples. No way.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYes, real people being talked about in a fictional or comedy work do count as tropes within that work.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Just double checking. Thanks.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.To clarify, the use of tropes about real people counts In-Universe. I just realized that what I wrote could have been read as saying that real people can be tropes, which is false.

Question about No Real Life Examples Please: Do real people appearing (as themselves) in a show count?
For example, this YKTTW for "Famous for Being Famous"
it's leaning towards NRLEP. But could someone, say, add in a Live-Action Television example under The Soup where references are made to Kim Kardashian being famous for being famous?
It's technically troping The Soup, not KK so would that be fine?
