Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Unfortunate Implications requires a citation, that one has none had has conversation in the main page. Burn it all.
I wasn't sure- for some reason I thought that citations were only required under the main Unfortunate Implications page- I wasn't sure if YMMV entries also required them.
But yeah, this particular entry is a mess.
Edit, edit, edit, edit the wikiUI only needs citations on the main UI page, not a work's YMMV page.
That said, that's got to be some of the worst natter I've seen in years. Kill all the subullets with all the fire.
Edited by Larkmarn Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. That page has a rather serious case of "this troper" as well - although that, at least, all seems to be traceable to a single editor (whose self-referencing entries are not limited to YMMV.Downton Abbey). I've scrubbed the relevant entries and sent the editor in question a PM.
Moving a contested or problematic entry to discussion is always a good way to go. It keeps the entry available and allows discussion from those familiar with the subject. I particularly like it for entries where the main examples says 'X', and there's a replying sub-bullet (bad in itself) arguing that it doesn't qualify because 'Y', and I'm not familiar with the work.

I saw on Downton Abbey, there's a long Unfortunate Implications entry that is talking to itself. Wasn't sure what if anything to do about it.
One particular question is that having viewed the episode in question (since it only just aired in the U.S.), I think the presentation makes it kind of ambiguous (I'm not sure if deliberately or not) to what degree Tom having sex with Edna was consensual, but some things which I could elaborate make me think it was supposed to come off that way- so, not sure what to do about entries stating that she raped him.
