Could possibly be Maximum Overdrive (with machines going like crazy and killing people).
Data Angel, here is the link to the clip:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dODptgTDZPs&feature=c4-overview&list=UUPoSHO-OOTb0rqZr6bJlMkQ
The scene I described above begins at 0:13 and ends at 0:44.
The people who posted the clip are talking over the clip I am referring to (meaning they are not referencing what is playing at all ~ I think they made a comedy video, and put this excerpt in for comedic effect).
I'm just curious to know what the name of the movie this excerpt is from.
Fawfulster, no this isn't Maximum Overdrive. That movie didn't have ghosts or anything like what this clip shows.
Thanks everyone.
So, does anyone know what the movie is which is seen on this You Tube video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dODptgTDZPs&feature=c4-overview&list=UUPoSHO-OOTb0rqZr6bJlMkQ
The portion I am interested in begins at 13 seconds into the video, and ends at 44 seconds.
The video clip this excerpt is a part of is a parody/comedy bit, and the excerpt was used for comedic effect. The two people talking over the excerpt don't say anything at all about what the excerpt is from.
I think I've bumped this thread enough, so if no one knows what the movie is, it's time to let this thread disappear.
Thanks in advance for your help.
I bet somebody will get this.
From the clothing and hairstyles of the two kids, I would put this in the 1970's (maybe the late 60s or early 80s). In fact, the whole clip looked like it could be from some sort of kids' movie or program, maybe even made by Disney, until it got to the end and the boy was decapitated and blood went everywhere. There seems to be a normal kid (who gets killed), and the other kid also looks like a normal kid until he disappears (teleports?).
No idea if Cain still checks on this, but on the video, there's a comment saying that the movie is 'House of Lost Souls' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0134457/
Hi alaman,
You are absolutely right. This clip is from 'House of Lost Souls'. Many thanks for solving this for me.
I had never heard of 'House of Lost Souls' until I read your post. This mystery is now solved!
Thank you alaman for the answer, and thank you to everyone else who ventured guesses as to what this clip was from.

There is a movie I am trying to find the name of. I've never seen it before, but I recently caught a very short clip of it on You Tube, but the person who posted it adamantly refuses to say where it comes from (for whatever reason).
So, it seems this movie takes place in either the mid-to late 70's to early 80's. It's definitely a horror movie, and it shows what seems to be a ghostly child luring some other kid into an old and abandoned laundry room. The ghost child briefly confronts the live child before abruptly vanishing.
Then, the laundry machines begin coming to life and one of them sprays the kid with what looks like steam. Then, a nearby sheet (or some kind of bolt of fabric) lifts up and is seemingly thrown over the kid. During this sequence, the kid falls to his knees, and a nearby dryer seems to be sliding towards the kid with its drying mechanism spinning at full speed. The kid somehow gets his head stuck in the dryer after it's door mysteriously opens.
Naturally, this kid comes to a very bad end, and the spinning mechanism promptly decapitates the youth. The now-dead childs head bounces around inside of the dryer for a time, and blood geysers out of the dryer, and drenches the rest of the kid's body.
Obviously, what has been described here is B-grade material. However, I would like to know what the name of this movie is. Does any of this sound familiar with anyone out there?
Thanks for your help!
