Fearless Fool is in the right area, but I'm guessing I should have been more specific. In the scenario I'm thinking of, a character confronts a violent criminal without backup or any means to defend herself. It would have been more prudent to avoid the confrontation together, but it had to be done. She feels the fear and does it anyway.

Is there a trope for foolish bravery? Some does something incredibly brave and Bad Ass, but that is also incredibly stupid, probably in terms of the danger it poses. They don't necessarily have to be holding the Idiot Ball or be Too Dumb to Live.
