Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

No, those are Troper Tales. Kill them.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Seems like that would be all of them. Would that count as blanking the page?

Reaction Image RepositoryIt is acceptable to remove invalid examples on a wiki article. If it is an otherwise valid subpage, and deleting bad examples leaves it blank, then it should not typically be cut unless a request is made to have the cut page unlocked afterwards, because someone might offer a valid example in the future.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I cut them all.
The only one I'm considering rewriting and readding is this one:
- This troper has Plato's "The Republic" on tape. There is little as epic as finally beating a massive boss with the power of a speech about the way money corrupts the upper class. Naturally, since the level of sound varys wildly, even surviving it was impressive.
While obviously the "I'm impressive for beating it" parts need to go, it is a bit of a CMOA for the game to allow someone to create a boss fight using the Plato's Republic. Any thoughts?

You know, it would seem rather hard to have Awesome Moments for a game whose content is created by its players without slipping into Troper Tales. Maybe we should cut the page.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Yeah, getting rid of "This troper" went without saying.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I was planning to do a sweep of the Awesome.Video Games subpages about a year or so ago to do exactly this - remove any moments that are clearly personal tales of awesome rather than awesome moments inherent in the game. Never got past more than four or five pages, though (including one that was basically rendered blank as a result). It probably requires a concerted cleanup effort, but there's already a long-term project for removing Troper Tales from the Moments pages, so it can be filed under that, I suppose.

So what's the guideline/policy towards "personal" Awesome Moments on video game pages? I'm looking at Beat Hazard, and nearly all of the examples are tropers posting about their own achievements. Obviously the "this troper" stuff has to go, as well as the high scores and the one example about gameplay videos, but can stuff like "beating 'Dancing Mad' on Insane" or "playing Plato's Republic" stay if they're rewritten?
