It was a normal book. I remember it was about baby dragon or something (I think it was female but not sure, can't remember name either) that suddenly appeared in reality. A boy (or his younger sibling) registered on some site, where as far as I remember you took care of your virtual pet but... That one was unique because it was real. It was real because of the owner's identification number (I think it was all the way 4s).
Well, later it went bad, because they didn't had much of the virtual currency (which was used up on things becoming real if, again, my memory is good) and the older sibling then had to find out way of this. He found someone (can't remember who), who taught him how to play one of the minigames of that site. I think it was "find pair" or something of that kind, but I am not sure. I read that book loooooong time ago. Heck, I probably didn't had Internet then (and I have it for over 2, maybe 3 years).
If I remember, the book ends with dragon being given away to someone else (which wasn't just a generic mook/person/you get the drill), and the dragon virtualized (or however you name this), as the identification number of new owner was no longer magical... and I think the items associated with dragon also did that.
...is that enough?
