Was the second one possibly Hellraiser? I don't remember a Mickey Mouse watch, but there are scenes of blood dropping in slw motion and it was out the same year as House II.

It's not Hellraiser.

I doubt this is it, but the first one reminds me a bit of the first episode of the series "The Tomorrow People". The "classic" series, from 1973. There is a scene where Carol basically "mind melds" with Stephen, and all sorts of strange images are shown for "psychedelic" effect. These images are used in the rest of the series as the opening sequence.

The first scene - the mind-meld.. was it a black man and a white, blonde woman? In that case it might have been an episode of Babylon 5. If so I can find the name for you.

The second one might be the Angels & Demons or The Da Vinci Code movie; IIRC the protagonist had a Mickey Mouse watch in the book at least.

This was before Babylon 5 and long before the Dan Brown movies. I think 1990-92 time frame.

The only opening for the original Tomorrow People I can find has fast zooming in to opening hands and stuff like lattices and space photos. Not the same thing I remember.
